His surgical facility, the ACPS SurgiCentre, has received the highest certification possible from the respected American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) for its meticulous implementation of safety protocols. The focus on a patient’s care and safety continues throughout the post-operative recovery period. For patients who have undergone more extensive surgeries, Dr. Mentz may recommend an overnight stay in one of the SurgiCentre’s four recovery suites, where a registered nurse will provide careful monitoring. With a ratio of one nurse for every two patients, patients receive focused and attentive care. ACPS has made a commitment to providing caring details for the comfortable and convenient recovery of its guests. If Dr. Mentz feels that additional monitoring of your condition is necessary, he may request a private visit to your home from a certified medical professional through ACPS’s unique home health care program. If you desire more additional care and assistance during your recovery, ACPS has partnered with Recovery Care, a premier provider of home care service. Recovery Care staff will not only monitor your recovery, but they will run errands for medication and groceries, prepare meals, help you to the restroom, answer the phone, and communicate with Dr. Mentz and family members on your behalf. For the convenience of –out-of-town guest or for those who desire a more private recovery, ACPS has made arrangements with several local hotels, including the Westchase Hilton, St. Regis, and Candlewood Suites. To help you look and feel your best after surgery, Dr. Mentz offers his patients a variety of skin care, laser, and massage services through the Added Touch medical spa. The spa’s skin care specialist s offer microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser services, and medical-grade skin care products that will help your skin to maintain a smooth and healthy, rejuvenated appearance.
