Mentz Foundation Medical Mission Trip to Roatan, Honduras
Dr. Mentz and his nurse practioner Renee Arriaga, FNP, RN created the Mentz Foundation in 2009 as a 501c3 non-profit organization with the mission to provide medical supplies, food, clothing and other essential items to underserved communities throughout the world.
A portion of every patient's cosmetic injectable service fee with Renee Arriaga goes to support organizations such as Clinica Esperanza, a clinic that meets the medical and dental needs of the underserved in Roatan, Honduras. Since 2009, Dr. Mentz and members of his staff have traveled to the island to provide medical and humanitarian support to support the clinic, schools, and local communities. In addition to Roatan, Renee participates on medical mission trips on behalf of the Mentz Foundation to countries that include Africa, El Salvador, Viet Nam, and Peru.
