The Galleria Shopping Center
As the fourth–largest mall in the United States, the Galleria is a favorite shopping destination for Houstonians and visitors, alike. Johnson Space Center
Space Center Houston offers a multitude of entertaining exhibits to give tourists a window into the world of the space flight program. Downtown Aquarium
This six-acre complex features more than 200 species of aquatic life from around the world, and exhibits such as a 17th century Spanish galleon, a rainforest, sunken temple, and white tigers. Houston Zoo
The Houston zoo is home to animals from all around the world. Here you can watch sea lions glide through the water, watch the antics of orangutans and lemurs, and view a white alligator that is one of only 14 known to exist in the world. The zoo has various exhibits including a river habitat with otters, piranhas, and electric eels; a coral reef and a meerkat habitat.
