Chemical Peels
Chemical peels work to brighten and smooth your complexion by gently exfoliating the older, damaged surface layers of the skin. We offer comprehensive peel systems from acclaimed skin care leader, SkinMedica. Depending on your individual needs, three different levels of SkinMedica peels are available:
- Level 1—Illuminize Peel. SkinMedica' lightest peel is perfect for those who desire to brighten and tighten their skin before an upcoming event since it produces little to no visible peeling.
- Level 2—Vitalize Peel As SkinMedica's most popular peel, the Vitalize Peel is suitable for all skin types and produces noticeable results after just one peel. After light flaking for 3-5 days, your skin's clarity and texture will show improvement.
- Level 3—Rejuvenize Peel This peel penetrates into the skin to produce significant results after 5-7 days of light peeling. It is indicated to improve moderate to severe skin conditions including sun damage, lines and wrinkles, acne, acne scarring, and melasma.
Obagi Blue Peel®Radiance™
Your skin will look radiant and smooth after just one treatment of the Obagi Blue Peel® Radiance™ chemical peel. This salicylic acid-based peel is specially formulated to gently, yet effectively, leave your skin looking brighter, smoother, and tighter. The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance is appropriate for most skin types, and it is especially helpful to improve acne. Peeling varies between individuals, ranging from no peeling to light peeling up to a week.
To see the most significant improvement to the skin, we recommend a series of three to six peels.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion works mechanically to remove dead skin cells and polish the skin's surface through the massaging action of crystals. This action not only stimulates oxygenation of the skin through increased blood flow to the area, but it also helps to thicken the skin's collagen. This 30-minute treatment will leave your skin with a fresh, healthy glow and a smoother texture.
Laser Treatments
Like microdermabrasion and chemical peels, lasers resurface the skin to rejuvenate its appearance. However, they achieve this action at a deeper level through the action of short pulses of light that penetrate the skin's layers to stimulate the growth of new collagen fibers. Our lasers are designed to target a wide variety of skin concerns to provide the following benefits:

Post-Surgical Massage
The massage therapists at Dr. Mentz's Added Touch Medical Spa offer a special postoperative massage that is designed to support and speed your body's natural healing process after a cosmetic surgery procedure. A combination of lymphatic and Swedish massage techniques are used which work togehter to stimulate the lymphatic system to help reduce bruising, swelling, and numbness.
To help patients regain flexibility, our massage therapist incorporate gentle stretching techniques and range of movement motions into this massage. The massage is designed to be healing, soothing, and gentle to enhance your recovery experience.
