BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport™

BOTOX Cosmetic and Dysport smooth out the smile lines that form around the eyes. They also greatly diminish the lines that form between the eyebrows and across the forehead to restore a more refreshed appearance to these areas. They work by gently inhibiting the muscle movement that leads to creasing of the skin's surface. Our aesthetic specialists provide just enough treatment to soften the muscle movement so that the skin can smooth out, without giving you a "frozen look" Their effects typically wear off in 4-5 months.

Juvederm™, Restylane®, Perlane®, and Radiesse®

Juvederm™, Restylane®, Perlane®, and Radiesse® are composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body that keeps the skin looking fresh and supple. These gels can be used to fill in wrinkles and folds and to restore volume and suppleness to the face and lips. Radiesse® has the added benefit of stimulating the skin's natural collagen, a key protein which provides the skin with strength and elasticity. The length of results varies depending on the filler, lasting anywhere from six months to one year.

Restoring Youthful Volume to Your Face

Rejuvenation Through Stem Cell Enriched Fat Transfers (RESET Procedure)

The volumizing properties that work to fill in wrinkles can also be used to recontour the face to restore its youthful characteristics. Fat grafting uses an individual's own fat to fill in wrinkles and folds, and to add fullness to the face and lips. Using it in the cheeks area not only adds volume, but it also gives the face a more lifted appearance.

Dr. Mentz uses a specialized technique which involves utilizing the stem cell rich portion of the fat for grafting, known as RESET (Rejuvenation Through Stem-Cell Enriched Transfers). Mentz liposuctions fat from an area such as the abdomen and thighs and spins it in a centrifuge device to purify it. He then reinjects the stem-cell rich portion of the fat into the wrinkle or area of the face where volume is desired. Though it has not been proven, stem cells may have the potential to improve the skin's tone and texture.

Sculptra Aesthetic

Sculptra Aesthetic is a newer injectable treatment that takes a different approach to correcting facial gauntness. Through a series of three treatment sessions, it stimulates the body's own production of collagen to restore volume to the face. In this way, its benefits appear gradually, unlike the hyaluronic acid-based fillers which achieve immediate results. Sculptra is considered a semi-permanent filler, with results lasting up to two years for many patients.

Microdermabrasion and Chemical Peels
