All facelifts performed by Dr. Mentz take place under general anesthesia in our Quad A-accredited surgical center, with a board-certified anesthesiologist present for every procedure — ensuring the highest level of patient safety and care.

• Enhance your comfort even further with advanced recovery solutions:
• Short-span anesthesia for an easier, gentler wake-up
• Tranexamic Acid (TXA) given intraoperatively to help reduce bruising and bleeding
• Exparel® – a long-acting local anesthetic injected during anesthesia, providing up to 72 hours of pain relief
• Overnight Recovery – all facelift patients stay overnight under the care of a registered nurse, ensuring expert monitoring, comfort, and round-the-clock care. Discharge to home is only permitted with Dr. Mentz’s approval.
