Assessment: This patient was aging much faster than most women her age. She felt that she looked 67, rather than 57. This was mostly due to her droopy eyelids and turkey neck. She came to Dr. Mentz looking for a cheek fat pad lift, which can be achieved by his 2-layer SMAS facelift. Procedures: 2-layer Facelift, Neck Lift, Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), fat transfer to cheeks. Note the dramatic improvement of her neck and jawline from the 2-layer facelift which lifts the underlying tissue as well as the surface skin layer.
