What is Morpheus8 with Burst technology?

Morpheus8 Body is a radiofrequency-based microneedling procedure. The “Burst” mode of Morpheus8 involves automatic delivery of bipolar radiofrequency energy at three different levels of depth sequentially within the skin to achieve skin, tissue, fat, and collagen remodeling in a single cycle.

It’s called “Burst” because the multi-pulses are delivered in millisecond-long intervals. Offering the deepest fractional technology, Morpheus8 Body with Burst technology is more advanced than any fractional technology available.

The Burst technology and its large applicator tip mean that patients get a fast and effective option for contouring collagen and sub-dermal adipose tissue in larger problem areas such as the abdomen, thighs, love handles, and buttocks.

How Morpheus8 Burst works

Fractional remodeling and contouring at its best, Morpheus8 with Burst teams microneedling with radiofrequency to activate collagen production and achieve subdermal adipose remodeling. Using microneedles to puncture the skin and heat the underlying tissues, Morpheus8 with Burst utilizes a unique large surface tip that includes 40 thin gold-coated microneedles and a thermal profile of 7mm — plus an additional heat profile of 1mm. The result is smoother, tighter, more youthful-looking skin that is achieved without damaging the surrounding areas.

What to expect

Morpheus8 Body with Burst is performed under local anesthesia in order to minimize any discomfort. There are no incisions, and therefore no scarring. Because this is a non-invasive procedure, recovery time is very minimal, with the majority of patients being able to return to regular activities immediately.

Some patients have pinpoint bleeding or a sunburn-type side effect, but these are both temporary. During recovery, you should avoid sun exposure. Depending on your specific needs, 1 to 3 sessions (scheduled one month apart) may be needed. During your consultation, we can give you a more exact idea of how many treatments you’ll require.

Everyone was extremely friendly and informative throughout the whole process. I felt very safe and comfortable and am extremely pleased with my recovery process and results.
